1.
The competitions will
be known as the John Clarke Memorial Trophy and Supplementary Tournament.
2.
The competitions will
be run on a knock-out basis, with preliminary and/or first round losers of the
main competition being entered into the Supplementary Tournament.
3.
Teams to consist of a
minimum of two, and up to four players. If a team plays with two or three
players, four points per player will
be deducted from the final match totals.
4.
Teams will be
handicapped according to their league positions prior to the first round draw.
The Management Committee will decide the handicapping arrangements and their
decision will be final.
5.
Matches will be
played at neutral venues on Saturday mornings commencing at 10.30 a.m. or,
either earlier or later by mutual arrangement.
6.
Match formation to
consist of four games of 21 up. Aggregate scores to count as the result (with handicapping and any point deductions
for fielding less than four players taken into account).
7.
Should the match
result in a draw, each team to nominate one player to play a ‘7 up’ game.
8.
Results to be phoned
to the League Secretary as soon as possible.
